A day with Singapore's only animal education officer

Meet Marie Wong. Singapore's one and only animal education officer. Marie had a love for animals all her life and decided to take up a job at the SPCA in hopes of making a difference to the local animals here in Singapore. She admits that the job may be odd to some and doesn’t pay as well as other jobs, it is a more rewarding job where she feels that what she does, do actually make a difference. 

 

My team interviewed students around campus to find out if students realise the hardwork of the individuals at the SPCA. We travelled to the local SPCA where we talk to Marie about the scopes of her job and watch her in action as she shows us around the shelter and the different animals in it. We Conducted a sit down interview with her and took shots of the shelter and the animals it houses
